Te reo

Description: In et reo we have been learning about The Maori dinner table. My group and I made a puppet pal so we can talk about some of the food in Maori. In my group it was Mike, Finis and I made it together.


Feedback: I think you did well at learning the Maori language and i think you will be a great teacher.
Feedforward: I think you don't have anything to work on. It is good. Jacob W

Evaluation: I think my group and I did well because we did quite a lot of maori and english words. I like the way we did a mix of the new zealand culture with english and maori.

Science (moon inquiry)

Description: In science we have been learning about the moon. The teachers set a task for us to make a movie about the moon. The moon orbits the earth. Some facts about the moon
  • The moon is not a planet, but a satellite of the Earth. Fletcher did the voice over, Sam helped with him but didn't do the voice over, Jack and I did the research.
  • The surface area of the moon is 14,658,000 square miles or 9.4 billion acres.
  • Only 59% of the moon's surface is visible from earth.
  • The moon rotates at 10 miles per hour compared to the earth's rotation of 1000 miles per hour.
  • The moon is 4.53 million years old.
  • The moons radius is 1,737 km.
  • Distance to earth is 384,400 km.
  • The moon has 1.622 m/s2
  • The moons orbital periods is 27 days


feedback/feedforward:  I think that you did a good job explaining the moon orbiting earth. i think that next time you could make it part of a bigger video.

Evaluation: I think my group and I did well with our inquiry about the moon. Next time we will make the speaker more clearer.
